We had a surprise party for Daddy on his birthday (11/4/10). When he got home from work, there was a tiki-themed party waiting for him with lumpia, polynesian meatballs and mai tais with little umbrellas!

La Fiesta Johansenero (2nd Annual Johansen County Fair)

The 2nd Annual Johansen County Fair (La Fiesta Johansenero) took place on September 11. We had tamales, taquitos, beans, agua frescas, and two kinds of sangria. There were salsa and guacamole competitions and a jumper for the kids. I'm going to upload most of the pictures to facebook but here are a few family ones.
